ADMISSION

1 July, 9:00 a.m. - «Caetani» Castle
Together with the request for registration, applicants must send the Campus secretariat two chamber music scores of recent
composition which will be examined by the course lecturer.
Participants will be informed of their admission not later than 20^th June.
Course Programme:
a) Individual lessons: students are requested to compose a short piece for up to three perfrormers chosen from soprano voice, flute and piano. The performers themselves must, however, be agreed with the teacher. The pieces, to be completed by 12 July, will be studied beetween 12 and 15 July by Laura Catrani (soprano), Maria Grazia Bellocchio (piano) and Lorenzo D'Erasmo (percussion) and performed at a public workshop at Caetani Castle on 15 July. At the end of the performance a committee consisting of the teacher, the performers and a Campus representative will, at their discretion, select one or more of the young composers to write a piece to be performed during the contemporary music section of the Festival Pontino 2013.
b) Group lessons with demonstrations of compositional techniques and practical exercises;
c) On alternate days, lessons analysing important historic and contemporary works. These lessons will be open to students participating in instrumental courses.

Applications should be received before June 20 2013. A non-refundable application fee of 40,00 Euros for Active Students and Listeners, should be enclosed with each application, in the form of a Euro-denominated banker's draft or other negotiable instrument (wire transfer to Banca Popolare di Fondi, BIC code POFOIT3FXXX, IBAN IT 76 L 05296 14700 CC0080042292, account 42292). The bank transfer tax must be paid by the students. The student's name, address and the course he or she wishes to attend, should be included with the payment. The application fee is the same for candidates wishing to attend more than one course. 

PARTICIPATION FEES

Participation fees are shown in the list of Courses and must be paid in advance, in Euro. It is not possible to pay fees by instalment, or to refund them. Students should be aware that at present there are no banking facilities in Sermoneta.

CHARGES

Course participants will may take meals at the Caetani Castle at a weekly rate per person of € 126. Subject to availability of rooms, accomodation is at the weekly rate of € 112.
